Loanable pieces
LOAN POLICY
At JEMS by Jemima Onuwe, we offer a loan service for stylists, industry professionals, and creatives needing our exclusive pieces for editorial shoots, red carpet events, and special projects. To ensure smooth transactions, the following policy applies to all loaned items.
- Loan Consultation Service
A loan consultation is available to discuss and approve the following details before checkout . Alternatively, an email can be sent to loans@jemsbyjemimaonuwe.co.uk
- The specific piece(s) being loaned
- The date it will be needed
- The duration of use
- The agreed-upon return date
All requests must be submitted at least 4-7 days in advance via booking a loan consultation or emailing loans@jemsbyjemimaonuwe.co.uk
- Loan Fees
- Loan fees apply on all pieces and are required for the packaging of the pieces and sending them to your location . It also covers maintenance of the piece after use in preparation for another customer .
- Loan Duration & Returns
- The borrower must specify when the piece is needed and how long it will be used for at the time of request.
- All loaned items must be returned by the agreed date in good condition.
- Extensions must be requested in advance and are subject to approval.
- Care & Responsibility
- Borrowers are fully responsible for the care and maintenance of the piece(s) while in their possession.
- Items must be returned undamaged, unaltered, and in original condition (no stains, tears, or missing embellishments).
- If damage occurs, the borrower is responsible for repair costs or full replacement value if beyond repair.
- Late Returns & Penalties
- Late returns will incur a fee of £55 per day beyond the agreed return date.
- If an item is not returned within 1 week past the agreed return date, the customer will be charged the full retail price of the item.
- Usage & Credit
- Any editorial, red carpet, or promotional usage must properly credit JEMS by Jemima Onuwe in all published material.
- Failure to provide credit may result in denial of future loan requests.
Agreement & Acknowledgment
By borrowing from JEMS by Jemima Onuwe, you acknowledge and agree to these terms. Violation of this policy may result in legal action or restriction from future loans.
